3 Days Serengeti Hot Air Balloon Safari is a wildlife viewing experience in the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park which starts in Arusha and continues to the central part of the national park where you will spend the rest of the safari looking out for various wildlife species and seeing different attractions.

Serengeti national park is the oldest national park in Tanzania which is also a popular tourist destination located in the northern part of Tanzania. This national park is also famous for the great wildebeest migration.

You will engage in morning and afternoon game drives during your 3 days Serengeti balloon safari and also enjoy a memorable hot air balloon ride over the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Serengeti national park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and your guide will welcome you for your 3 Days Serengeti Hot Air Balloon safari. You will also have a short briefing about your safari as you prepare for a transfer from Arusha to Serengeti national park where you will explore the open savannah plains and look out for various wildlife species such as the big 5 like elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards as well as many other wildlife species.

On arrival in Serengeti national park, your guide will drive you to your lodge. You will check in at your lodge as you prepare for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 2; hot air balloon ride and afternoon game drive

On the 2nd day of your 3 days Serengeti balloon safari, your guide will drive you from your lodge for an early morning safari experience on a hot air balloon ride in Serengeti national park. You will be driven to the landing point where you will have a briefing about the hot air balloon activity and later embark on an aerial viewing experience over the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park. You will also enjoy the beautiful views around the national park during this activity after which you will share snacks with fellow passengers.

You will return to your lodge in Serengeti national park for lunch. After lunch at your lodge, you will engage in an afternoon game drive to look out for various wildlife species in Serengeti national park which has over 4000 lions, about 500 bird species and other wildlife species like wildebeests, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, gazelles, kudu, and hartebeests among others. You will have dinner and overnight after your game drive at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 3; drive to Arusha

Breakfast will be served at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for a morning game drive in the national park. You will look out for the different wildlife species such as wildebeests, antelopes, lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, gazelles among others and after this activity, your guide will drive you to Arusha and drop you off at your hotel or at the airport which will bring your 3 days Serengeti balloon safari to an end.
